Best Western Sanctuary Inn

Photos didn't show the room we were given. The bathroom is in the bedroom and shower over a spa bath with a shower curtain! Didn't bother. No Power outlets near the bed so no laptops, phones etc. No coffee maker etc as advertised. Remote for TV didn't work. Appalling lack of basic facilities. THEN A BLACKOUT. Nearly left but just gave up and went to bed. Bed was fine. Staff was very nice.

Pool and spa were a delight on a hot muggy day. Our room was clean and comfortable with toiletries provided and beach towels for the pool as well. Free wifi worked well. Yummy continental breakfast available in the Restaurant. Fruit jars, toast, coffee and juice were delicious. Parking a bit tight but you can park anywhere. Customer service was very good.

After 40 years traveling and motel rooms this one would be the worst I've ever been in. I booked a standard queen room and it was dirty, broken down and had noisey aircon and whistling toilet. Wont be staying there again. The dining area looked very nice but I didn't feel like eating there after being given the room I had. The motel looks wonderful from the outside and some of your rooms may be very nice, as on your website, but my room was quite unacceptable.

I was really late arriving and was deeply grateful that the office was still open for me to check in! The lovely lady at reception was understanding and accommodating. Here's my problem with the place: 1. They gave me a room 'up the stairs (no lift) which would have meant that I would have had to drag my heavy suitcase up to the room late at night and after a horrid drive to Tamworth. I asked to change rooms and was able to get one on the ground floor thankfully. 2. Although the room was clean, the carpet was so old, stained and sticky that I wasn't confident to walk on in barefoot 3. The bathroom was filthy! It was full of other people hairs all over the counter, basin, bath and floor. The tiles looked like they hadn't been cleaned in forever as well. I ended up covering the floor with towels so I could walk around and shower. Although the location is very central keep in mind that this is 'no frills' accommodation.

This motel is probably the worst I have ever stayed in. Rooms very tired and in need of renovations. Carpets stained and badly worn.TV old and only had a few channels. Grounds are dirty and unkept. Reminded me of some third world accommodation. Restaurant food reasonable but understaffed and slow. Whoever owns this establishment should be ashamed of themselves..Unfortunately I didn’t read previous reviews or I certainly would not have made the booking.
